Personas help you showcase your strengths and individuality. They also allow others to understand your approach to escape rooms—whether you're a mastermind solver, a storyteller, or an explorer. It’s a fun way to connect with like-minded people and celebrate what makes you stand out.

You can select a persona that resonates with your style when setting up or updating your EscaperX profile. Alternatively, you may unlock certain personas by meeting specific criteria, such as completing challenges, earning achievements, or engaging with the community.

Yes! You can switch personas anytime in your profile settings. Whether you evolve in your escape room journey or want to explore a new role, we encourage you to update your persona to reflect your growth.

We’ve created personas for three main user groups: • Escapers: Adventurers who love solving puzzles and conquering escape rooms. Examples include "The Strategist," "The Adventurer," and "The Detective." • Game Masters: The architects behind escape room experiences. Personas like "The Storyteller," "The Puzzle Master," and "The Innovator" capture their creative roles. • Bloggers: Escape room enthusiasts who share stories, reviews, and insights. Personas include "The Critic," "The Social Butterfly," and "The Insider."

While personas represent your style, ranks and achievements track your progress and milestones. However, some personas may require specific achievements or actions to unlock, adding an element of fun and challenge!

Currently, users can choose one primary persona that best represents them. However, you might unlock alternate personas for display on your profile or to mix things up in the future.
